Deuba and Khadka File Supplementary Petitions in Supreme Court

Kathmandu. Separate supplementary petitions filed by Nepali Congress former president Sher Bahadur Deuba and former acting president Purna Bahadur Khadka have been registered at the Supreme Court. Congress leader Deepak Khadka on behalf of Deuba and advocate Shravankumar on behalf of Khadka had submitted supplementary petitions on Monday demanding a halt to the general convention process.
Supreme Court spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala informed Ratopati about the registration of the petitions. The petitions by Deuba and Khadka demand a halt to the general convention process initiated unilaterally by the leadership that is said to have come from a special general convention.
