Government to Provide Management Costs to Cooperatives for Paddy Purchase

Kathmandu. The Government of Nepal has decided to provide management costs to cooperatives that purchase paddy according to the minimum support price set for coarse and medium paddy for the current fiscal year 2083/84.

The National Agriculture Modernization Program, Program Management Unit under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Environment, in a notice, stated that management costs will be provided as an incentive to cooperative organizations that purchase and manage paddy at the minimum support price.
