Taipei. Due to Typhoon Bavi, which was pushed from Japan towards China, more than 14,000 people in Taiwan have been forced to leave their homes, and many shops and businesses have been closed, it has been reported.
Bavi has affected thousands in Okinawa and is expected to make landfall in China on Sunday morning. Roads in Keelung, a port city in Taiwan, the most affected area by Bavi's strong winds and heavy rains, have become deserted.
