Madhesh Province Government Continues with Congress-CPN (UML) Alliance

Kathmandu. The impact of the breakdown of the Congress-CPN (UML) alliance in provincial governments has been felt in six provinces. However, in Madhesh, the alliance between the Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) remains intact.

While the political course in the other six provinces is moving forward based on the alliance between the CPN (UML) and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre), in Madhesh, no alternative to the Nepali Congress has been sought.
