Gandaki Province Assembly Building Construction One Year In, Completion Expected 2027

Pokhara. The Gandaki Province Assembly building has been under construction for one year with an investment of 25 crore rupees from the provincial government. The building, being constructed on 7 ropanis of land in Nadipur, Pokhara Metropolitan City-3, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Surendraraj Pandey on Bhadra 3 last year. Currently, pillars have been erected and the ground floor structure has been built in the main building.

A contract was signed on Magh 18, 081 with Shrestha & Sons-East West JV, New Baneshwor Kathmandu, for the construction of the building for 25 crore 37 lakh 82 thousand 8 hundred 60 rupees including VAT, between the Urban Development and Building Office Kaski and the construction company. The construction entrepreneur was contracted to complete the construction work within 36 months (3 years).
