Severe Flooding Damages Rasuwa; Citizens Urged to Exercise Caution

Kathmandu. Severe damage has been caused in areas including Syabrubesi and Timure in Rasuwa due to severe floods. Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Vikram Timilsina has urged citizens in riverine and risk-prone areas of Rasuwa and Nuwakot to exercise special caution.

The government has directed the concerned security bodies, district administration offices, local levels, disaster management bodies, and other stakeholders to exercise high vigilance. Minister of Communications Timilsina stated that instructions have been given to be in a state of readiness for rescue and relief operations and to take all necessary steps.
