National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority Urges Search and Rescue Efforts Amidst Flooding

Kathmandu. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has urged all concerned parties to assist in search and rescue operations after floods in the BhoteKoshi and Trishuli rivers of Rasuwa affected districts including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, and Chitwan.

Issuing a special request on Wednesday, the Authority urged all helicopter and drone-related associations, including the Airline Operators Association of Nepal and the Nepal Drone Association, to coordinate with the concerned District Administration Offices, security agencies, and local levels to search for and rescue those affected by the disaster.
