Flood Washes Away Vehicles and Materials at Rasuwa Customs Office

Kathmandu. The flood has washed away vehicles and other materials at the Rasuwa Customs Office in Rasuwa. According to the Ministry of Finance, 5 more employees are missing, while other employees are waiting for rescue on the hill above Timure market.

According to Rajendra Dhungana, chief of the Rasuwa Customs Office, more than 300 vehicles, including trucks and others, that were in the customs yard for inspection were washed away by the flood. Not only that, but many other vehicles that were undergoing customs inspection in the customs area were also washed away.
