Sarlahi Irrigation Office Chief and Official Charged with Bribery

Kathmandu. The Division Chief of the Underground Water Resources and Irrigation Development Division Office Sarlahi, Anupama Dhakal, and Mechanical Officer Sixth Tulakant Chaudhary have been charged by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) in the Special Court Kathmandu.

Based on a complaint that they demanded a bribe of seven and a half lakh rupees from service recipients during the process of payment after the completion of boring and motor installation work, a CIAA team deployed from Bardibas had taken them under control with the said amount.
