Bagmati Province Government Deploys Medical Teams to Rasuwa Flood Victims

Kathmandu. The Bagmati Province Government has mobilized emergency health teams from various hospitals to the affected areas to intensify the rescue and treatment of citizens affected and injured by the severe flood and landslide in Rasuwa.
Under the direction of Chief Minister Kiran Thapa Magar, teams comprising doctors, health workers, and necessary medical supplies from hospitals under the province have been sent to the Rasuwa and Trishuli areas. Health Secretary of the Province, Dr. Sumitra Gautam, has coordinated the mobilization of health workers from various provincial hospitals. An emergency health team led by orthopedic and neurosurgeon Dr. Divakar Subedi from Bhaktapur Hospital has departed for Rasuwa. The team includes General Surgeon Dr. Vijay Bhatta, Medical Officer Dr. Kavikant Chaudhary, IT Engineer Dipesh Khadka, Staff Nurse Sangita Pyakurel, and Health Assistant Alisa Pokharel.
