Government Seeks Drones, Helicopters to Intensify Search and Rescue in Flood-Hit Areas

Kathmandu. The government has called on drone operators and helicopter service providers to support ongoing search and rescue operations following the severe flooding in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers on Wednesday morning.

Government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel made the appeal while issuing a special notice, urging drone and helicopter operators to coordinate with local authorities and security agencies to speed up rescue efforts in affected areas.
