Bangladesh Floods Kill 44, Affect Over 1 Million

Dhaka. At least 44 people have died and more than 10 lakh people have been affected in the southeastern region of Bangladesh due to floods and landslides caused by continuous monsoon rains.

According to Reuters, the Ministry of Disaster Management of Bangladesh has stated that floods have caused great damage in seven districts. The affected districts include Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Bandarban, Rangamati, Khagrachhari, Moulvibazar, and Habiganj.
