Applicant Handed Over to Police for Submitting Fake Documents for Marriage Registration

Kathmandu. The applicant has been handed over to the police for necessary action after fake documents were found to have been submitted for registered marriage at the Kathmandu District Court.

According to the court, necessary documents including an application for registered marriage were submitted on Monday, and when presented in court on Tuesday, the documents were suspected and verified. Suspicion arose on the temporary recommendation letters with registration numbers 176 and 177 dated August 4 and bearing the signature of the ward chairman of Budhanilkantha Municipality Ward No. 2, and the verification process was initiated.
