India, China, World Bank Coordinate Aid for Flood Victims

Kathmandu. India, China, and the World Bank have immediately coordinated to provide financial assistance for the rescue and reconstruction of flood-affected people in disaster-stricken Nepal.
Immediately after the news of the flood came out, at 10:35 AM, the World Bank's Country Director for Nepal, David Sisslen, informed Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle that emergency assistance of Rs. 25 billion could be provided from various sources, according to the Finance Minister's secretariat.
