National Disaster Risk Reduction Authority Releases Second Situation Report on Bhote Koshi River Flood

Kathmandu. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has released a second situation report on the emergency situation following the flood in the Bhote Koshi River at the Nepal-China border, Rasuwagadhi. The report, which includes updated details until 9:05 PM on Wednesday, shows that the flood has caused severe human and physical damage.
According to the report, a landslide of snow and rocks occurred about 20 kilometers north-east of the Rasuwagadhi border crossing at 8:40 AM. This landslide caused a large flood with debris in the Lende Khola, and the flood that entered Nepal from Tibet through the Bhote Koshi has created a critical situation in the Trishuli River's coastal areas in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, and Chitwan districts.
