President telephones Prime Minister, urges prompt search, rescue operations

Kathmandu, Aug 26: President Ramchandra Paudel has urged Prime Minister Balendra Shah to mobilise State’s entire mechanisms to undertake search, rescue and relief efforts in the areas affected by the flash flood which occurred in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa on Wednesday morning.

The Head -of-the-State spoke with the Prime Minister on telephone, taking updates of the disaster. During the conversation, the President urged the Prime Minster to intensify recue, relief and search operations in the affected areas, according to President’s press advisor Kiran Pokharel.
