International Nations Express Grief Over Nepal Floods, Pledge Aid

Kathmandu. Various countries of the world have expressed deep sorrow over the devastating floods and landslides in Nepal on Wednesday morning and have pledged assistance. The international community has stated its readiness to provide necessary humanitarian aid to Nepal, expressing concern over hundreds of tourists missing due to the floods, including 33 British citizens.

Neighboring India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said his country is ready to provide all possible types of humanitarian aid to Nepal. Similarly, the United States Department of State has also stated that they are in contact with the Nepali government and are ready to help. The President of the European Union (EU), Ursula von der Leyen, has also pledged that the EU is ready to mobilize further European assistance for Nepal.
