Monetising Hobbies

Once upon a time, having a hobby meant spending time doing something that we enjoyed. We would write something without publishing, paint or bake something without selling, crochet something without opening an online shop. We did these things purely out of want and because they made us happy. But somewhere along the way, things have changed.
