Rabi Lamichhane Proposes All-Party Committee for Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation

Kathmandu. Ruling party Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has proposed forming an all-party committee for relief, rescue, and rehabilitation in the natural disaster that has befallen the country.

Starting the all-party meeting held at Singha Durbar, Chairman Lamichhane expressed the view that moving forward through a common mechanism of all parties, rather than the government's sole effort, would make the decision-making process effective. He stated, “Let’s form an all-party committee or a parliamentary or all-stakeholder committee from relief and rescue to rehabilitation. This will make it easier for the government to make decisions.”
