Two Women Detained by Police at Singha Durbar South Gate

Kathmandu. Two women who were staging a sit-in protest at the south gate of Singha Durbar have been taken into police custody. Niharika Singh Rajput and Binu Kathayat were protesting while getting wet in the rain. Police stopped them as they tried to enter Singha Durbar, stating they did not have a pass that met the criteria.

Their demand is to be allowed to present their problems at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
