Muglin-Narayangadh Road Section Fully Blocked Due to Landslides and Heavy Rainfall

Chitwan. Vehicular movement has been completely stopped on the Muglin-Narayangadh road section due to the high risk of continuous rain and landslides. The District Administration Office, Chitwan, held an emergency meeting of the Disaster Management Committee and has banned the operation of all types of vehicles in the said area until further notice is issued from a security perspective.

According to the Road Division Bharatpur, landslides with mud have occurred at various places on the Muglin-Narayangadh road section since yesterday evening, blocking the road on both sides. Although passengers and vehicles stranded in the middle of the road were sent to their destinations after clearing the landslides late yesterday evening, the risk remains as the rain has not stopped.
