MP Basumaya Tamang Rises to Speak, Then Sits Without Speaking in Parliament

Kathmandu. Tuesday, in the meeting of the House of Representatives, Basumaya Tamang, a Member of Parliament from the ruling party Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), sought time to speak during zero hour. Speaker Dolprasad Aryal called her name. She rose from her seat to speak but did not speak. Then Speaker Aryal said, 'Honorable member, if you are not going to speak, please sit down.' Then she sat down. She did not state the reason for rising and not speaking.
