Energy Minister Assures Resolution of Power Meter Shortage and Low-Voltage Issues in Karnali Province

Kathmandu. The long-standing problem of electricity meter shortage and the low-voltage problem in Surkhet, Karnali Province, will now be resolved. Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, stated this while conducting an on-site inspection of the Surkhet distribution center and providing information about the situation.

According to Minister Shrestha, out of the 5,000 meters demanded in Karnali Province, 2,000 have been supplied and the installation process has already begun. Assurance has been given that the remaining 3,000 meters will be made available within the next 7 days.
