25 States Sue Trump Administration Over New Tariffs

Washington D.C. Twenty-five states led by the Democratic Party in America have filed a lawsuit challenging the President Donald Trump administration's new tariff-related decision.

The lawsuit filed in the US International Trade Court on Monday alleges that the Trump administration exceeded its legal authority by imposing double-digit tariffs on 60 trading partner countries. New tariffs were imposed last month, citing that those countries did not make sufficient efforts to stop the import of goods produced by forced labor.
