Time to promote Nepali brands: Minister Yadav

Kathmandu, Aug 4: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Gauri Kumari Yadav, has urged industrialists and businesspersons to receive Nepal Standard (NS) Mark for their products in order to promote domestic products, ensure quality and reduce dependence on imports.

The use of NS Mark is imperative for the development of quality domestic products and market expansion, she underlined during a discussion with officials of the Department of Standards and Metrology. It is time to expand the scope of NS Mark, according to her.
