13,523 Religious Tourists Used Rasuwagadhi to Visit Kailash Mansarovar in One Year

Rasuwa. Using the Rasuwagadhi border crossing, 13,523 religious tourists have reached Tibet Autonomous Region's Kailash Mansarovar for pilgrimage in one year. According to the data of the fiscal year 2082/83 of the Immigration Office, Rasuwagadhi, 13,523 tourists went to Kailash Mansarovar in one year. This is an increase of 18.75 percent compared to the previous fiscal year. In fiscal year 2081/82, 11,387 tourists had gone to Kailash Mansarovar.
Kailash Mansarovar is an important pilgrimage site for followers of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon. As it is expensive to travel via the Hilsa border crossing in Humla, the use of the Rasuwagadhi border crossing is increasing.
