Parliamentary Committee Debates National Investigation Department's Oversight

Kathmandu. There was a heated debate between ruling party Rastriya Swatantra Party and opposition party lawmakers in the House of Representatives' State Affairs and Good Governance Committee meeting regarding whether the National Investigation Department should be under the Prime Minister's Office or the Home Ministry.

Lawmakers presented their respective arguments while participating in the discussion on the 'Bill to Revive the Previous Provisions of the Nepal Special Service Act, 2042'.
