MP Ramesh Malla Draws Attention to Vacant Director Positions in Medical Education Commission

Kathmandu. Nepali Communist Party MP Ramesh Malla has drawn the government's attention to immediately advance the appointment process for vacant directors in the Medical Education Commission. Speaking in the meeting of the House of Representatives held on Tuesday, MP Malla stated that the entrance examinations for various educational programs in medical education and the overall academic session have been affected due to the commission being without officials.

According to the academic calendar published by the commission, applications for MBBS including 17 educational programs in medical education were supposed to be called by the first week of Shrawan. However, after the government removed the commission's officials through an ordinance, new directors have not been appointed to date.
