103 pregnant and postpartum women get medevac services in a year

Kathmandu, Aug 4: One hundred and three pregnant and postpartum women benefited from medevac services in the last fiscal year under the President’s Women Upliftment Programme.

The Ministry of Women, Children, Gender, Sexual Minorities and Social Security airlifted pregnant and postpartum women at risk in remote areas through the Nepali Army. The ministry has also issued the Air Rescue Procedure 2077 for this.
