UGC Takes Over Foreign Degree Equivalency Service, Launches Online Application System

Kathmandu. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has officially taken over the responsibility of issuing equivalency certificates for academic qualifications earned from foreign universities, a task previously handled by Tribhuvan University.
The new system came into operation on July 22 and allows students to apply for degree equivalency online through the UGC’s dedicated portal, UGC Equivalence — University Grants Commission, Nepal .
