FNJ Demands Arrest of Nawaraj Oli Over Threats Against Journalists and Defamatory Content

Kathmandu. The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has called for the immediate arrest of Nawaraj Oli, also known as Nitesh, of Haldibari Rural Municipality-1 in Jhapa, accusing him of defaming the journalism profession and threatening working journalists.

In a statement issued on Monday, the federation said its serious attention had been drawn to Oli's activities, alleging that he has been disseminating misleading content through social media and messaging platforms while remaining absconding in connection with various criminal cases.
