Former PM Jhalanath Khanal Praises Chinese Communist Party's Experience for Nepal's Development

Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and senior leader of the Communist Party of Nepal, Jhalanath Khanal, has stated that the historical experience, ideological clarity, and political discipline of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) are exemplary for Nepal's development and prosperity. Addressing a discussion program on '105 Years of the Chinese Communist Party: Historical Experience and Nepal's Development', he mentioned that a correct ideological direction, strong discipline, and strict action against corruption are indispensable for the operation of any party and state.

Discussing the CPC, leader Khanal said that China has successfully faced the challenges of each era under the leadership of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, and Xi Jinping. He stated that China has achieved historical success because it has adopted 'Socialism with Chinese Characteristics' based on its own specificity and originality, rather than imitating foreign models. He argued that China's goal of building a prosperous and modern socialist nation by 2049 through rapid economic growth, poverty alleviation, and the development of modern infrastructure is an alternative development roadmap for the world community.
