DIG Anjani Kumar Pokharel Recommended for Additional Inspector General Promotion

Kathmandu. Armed Police DIG Anjani Kumar Pokharel has been recommended for promotion to Armed Police Additional Inspector General (AIG).

The promotion committee meeting held on Tuesday recommended Pokharel for promotion to the vacant post. The Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office is the chairman of the AIG promotion committee and the Secretary of the Home Ministry is the member. The legal provision is that the IG will be the member secretary.
