Putin Announces Completion of Luhansk Liberation Operation

Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Friday that the Russian army has completed the campaign for the 'full independence' of Luhansk People's Republic.

Speaking at a meeting at a temporary command post of the joint security forces group, President Putin said, 'I want to inform you that the units and organizations of the joint security forces group are completing their operation according to the operational plan prepared by the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces. The full liberation of Luhansk People's Republic has recently been completed.'
