UN Calls for Protection of Civilians and Infrastructure in Gaza

Kathmandu. The United Nations has called for the protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip in accordance with international humanitarian law.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has issued a statement warning that civilians and civilian infrastructure, aid workers, and their property in Gaza are at risk from Israeli airstrikes and shelling.
