Former Nepal Chamber of Commerce Chairman Rajendra Mall Calls for Special Steps to Ease Supply of Gas and Essential Goods

Kathmandu. Former Chairman of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Rajendra Mall, has stated that the government and concerned bodies should take special steps to ease the supply of gas and other essential goods in the country. He said this while speaking at a discussion program organized by the Economic Journalists Association of Nepal (SEJON) on the topic 'Impact of Floods and Landslides on Supply and Value Chains and Challenges Faced'.
Mall stated that the Nepal Oil Corporation should implement practical regulations to solve the problem of gas supply. He suggested arranging for consumers to exchange an empty cylinder from one company for a filled cylinder from another company to ensure easy availability of gas for consumers. He mentioned that this would also relieve consumers from the additional financial burden of buying a new cylinder.
