Two Miraculous Rescues in Nuwakot After 11 Days of Rasuwa Flood

Nuwakot. On the 11th day of the Rasuwa flood, two miraculous rescues took place in Nuwakot on Saturday. A 55-year-old Chandika Shrestha, who was buried in the debris of a house in Betrawati, and a Chinese national trapped in the tunnel of the Upper Trishuli-1 Hydropower Project were rescued alive on Saturday.

Chandika, who was buried in the four-story house of Anand Shrestha in Betrawati, Bidur Municipality-10, was rescued alive on the 11th day by a team of the Armed Police Force. After the rescue, she even drank the water given by the team. Armed Police DSP Shailendra Thapa informed that she is in a condition to speak.
