Flood Victims Receive Financial Aid; Over NPR 11 Billion Available in Relief Funds

Kathmandu. The process of collecting financial assistance for the flood-affected people of Rasuwa is increasing. The Prime Minister's Office has stated that there is currently NPR 11 billion 5 crore 56 lakh 26 thousand 971 in the Prime Minister's Natural Disaster Relief Fund and Prime Minister's Relief Fund. The government has already disbursed NPR 1 billion from the fund for flood-affected areas. The office has stated that NPR 8 billion 6 crore 25 lakh 15 thousand 518 has been deposited in nine commercial banks and an additional USD 1 crore 98 lakh 37 thousand 695 has been deposited in the dollar accounts of Himalayan Bank and Laxmi Sunrise Bank.
