Kathmandu. Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Tosima Karki has drawn the government's attention to road safety, stating that an average of eight Nepalis die daily in road accidents.
During a special session of the House of Representatives, MP Karki expressed sorrow over the death of 24,095 Nepalis in the last 10 years and urged the government to ensure road safety. She demanded that the Road Safety Bill be advanced to make road transport safer. She also called for an integrated trauma policy and the operation of trauma centers in all seven provinces.
