Monsoon Affecting Nepal, Moderate Rainfall Expected

Kathmandu. Currently, monsoon winds are affecting the entire country. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the monsoon low-pressure line is located south of the average position in the eastern parts of Nepal and around the average position in the western parts.

Currently, there is generally cloudy weather in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces. The Madhesh Province has partly cloudy weather. Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms is occurring in some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
