US House Rejects Proposal to Withdraw Troops from Lebanon

Washington DC. The United States House of Representatives has rejected a proposal related to war powers concerning Lebanon. The proposal, introduced by Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib, failed with 92 votes in favor and 324 votes against.

The proposal stipulated that the President's office be directed to withdraw US armed forces from Lebanon within seven days of the proposal's passage.
