World Environment Day being marked today

Kathmandu, June 5
World Environment Day 2026 is being celebrated today with the theme “Foundation for a Prosperous Future: Climate and Nature-Friendly Development”. Various events are being held in different venues to commemorate the Day. On the occasion, the Department of Environment is organising a special event in Lalitpur in the presence of Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment Gita Chaudhary.
