Former Nepali Congress Acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka Rejects Senior Leader Proposal

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress former acting president Purna Bahadur Khadka has said that he has rejected the establishment's proposal to make him a senior leader. Briefing at the Deuba group's contact office in Chundevi, Khadka said that Vice President Bishwaprakash Sharma had proposed to make him a senior leader on behalf of the establishment and he had rejected it.

'Bishwaprakash Sharma said that an agreement has been reached to make me and Dr. Shekhar Koirala senior leaders,' Khadka said in the meeting, 'I rejected that proposal.'
