Bill to Revive Nepal Special Service Act, 2042 Presented in House of Representatives

Kathmandu. A bill to revive the previous provision of the Nepal Special Service Act, 2042 has been presented in the House of Representatives. Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobita Gautam presented the proposal in the House of Representatives meeting held on Monday on behalf of Prime Minister Balen Shah.
Law Minister Gautam clarified that the bill had to be brought to maintain Nepal's security as the National Investigation Department will remain under the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, and the Nepal Government Work Allocation Rules, 2083 have been amended to keep it under the Prime Minister's Office.
