MP Hari Pant Raises Concern Over Casinos in Birgunj

Kathmandu. Parsa Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and elected Member of Parliament from Parsa-1, Hari Pant, has complained that the issues raised in the parliament have not reached the government. Speaking in the House of Representatives on Monday, Pant drew the attention of the government through the Speaker on serious matters.

Specifically, he complained that the easy entry of Nepalis into casinos in five-star hotels opened in and around Birgunj has ruined the local people's trade and business. He has demanded that the Nepal government and local administration ban the entry of Nepalis into casinos.
