Former NTA Officials Convicted of Corruption

Kathmandu. The Special Court has convicted former Chairman of the Telecommunications Authority Digambar Jha, former member Dhanraj Gyawali, and former member Tikaprasad Upreti.
The court has sentenced Digambar Jha to 6 months imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50,000. Furthermore, as he committed corruption while holding the post of head of a public institution, he has been sentenced to an additional 6 months, making a total of 1 year imprisonment.
