Former PMs Prachanda and Nepal to Visit Flood-Affected Areas

Kathmandu. Former Prime Ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal are preparing to go to the Bhote Koshi flood-affected area. Based on the suggestion of most leaders in the party's central coordination committee meeting held on Sunday that the party leadership should be seen in the field during times of disaster, Prachanda and Nepal are preparing to go to the affected area.

The devastating flood that occurred on Bhadra 10 caused great loss of life and property in the riverine areas of districts including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading. As the flood caused great devastation, the NCP called an emergency meeting of the central coordination committee and directed the entire party ranks to be engaged in search, rescue, and relief distribution.
