Man Arrested for Inciting Social Disharmony Over Bhote Koshi Flood

Kathmandu. Police have arrested a person for making statements that could disrupt social harmony regarding the damage caused by the flood in Bhote Koshi. The arrested person is 24-year-old Birendra Madai, originally from Suranya Rural Municipality-7 in Baitadi, currently residing in Kathmandu.
He was arrested on Bhadra 20 and an investigation is underway with a remand obtained from the court under the Electronic Transactions Act-2063, informed SP Dilip Kumar Giri of the Cyber Bureau to Ratopati.
