Government Sends 500 Solar Power Banks to Flood-Hit Areas to Restore Communication

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation has begun sending solar-powered charging power banks to flood-affected areas where electricity and communication services have been disrupted.

Through the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), the ministry dispatched 500 power banks to affected areas in the first phase on Thursday.
