Government Decides on Relief Fund, Flood Damage, and DAP Fertilizer Purchase

Kathmandu. The government has made public three decisions from the Council of Ministers meeting. Among the three decisions of the Council of Ministers meeting held on Friday, one decision is to deposit the one-month salary/remuneration of the Prime Minister and all members of the Council of Ministers into the Prime Minister's Natural Calamity Relief Fund.

Similarly, the meeting decided to instruct the Ministry of Finance to prepare a relief and rehabilitation package for individuals and business organizations affected by the flood in the Nepal-China border area of Rasuwagadhi and the Bhote Koshi River and its lower riparian areas that occurred last Wednesday.
